Making Training Work delivers Basic Skills Awareness training to staff from London’s libraries.
Funding from the London Development Agency and a successful partnership arrangement with the Museum, Libraries and Archives (MLA) resulted in 148 staff from London’s Museum and Libraries following a Basic Skills awareness training programme and achieving a City and Guilds qualification (C&G 9297). The course was delivered in libraries across London. Participants commented on how the course had developed their confidence and skills in working with users who need to improve their language, literacy, numeracy or ICT skills.
